Their CBD products

The first thing we did for this Procana CBD review is analyzing their products. In doing so, we noticed that they sell a lot of different CBD products. Basically all the common ones. We decided to buy a tincture and some softgel pills, because these are our favorite kind of CBD products.

Procana CBD review: The tinctures

Let’s start off by taking a closer look at the tinctures of Procana CBD. This brand sells seven different CBD oil tinctures; three different strengths of isolate (pure CBD), two different strengths of full spectrum (whole plant), one night-time tincture (infused with melatonin) and one with CBG (in a 1:1 ratio with CBD). Unfortunately there is no flavored CBD oil available.

For all the full spectrum and isolate CBD oils there are third-party lab-test results published on the product page. These tests confirm that the tinctures contain the correct cannabinoid content, and don’t contain a detectable amount of unwanted substances (such as heavy metals). So, having lab-test results for CBD oil tinctures is very important. This way you are ensured of the quality and safety of the products. Only for the night-time tincture and the one with CBG there are no lab-test results available (yet) unfortunately.

The ingredient lists of the tinctures are very clean as well. They only contain extra virgin olive oil (which is a healthy carrier oil) and of course CBD / hemp extract. Nothing in there that shouldn’t be there. The CBD oil is also GMO-free, gluten-free and vegan. Another thing that we noticed is that the prices of the tinctures are quite cheap compared to most other CBD oils on the market.

Alright, so the tinctures of Procana CBD look great on paper. But are they as good as they look? Time to put them to the test. For this review we tested the 1500mg isolate tincture (also called “Ultra” or “Maximum Strength” on their website). Our experience and findings are described below:

● In terms of physical effects, we noticed that our muscles felt less stiff and sore after working out. Weightlifting can give you some annoying aches sometimes. Taking some CBD oil before and after training really seemed to ease these kinds of pains.
● In terms of mental effects, we noticed that we felt calmer at crowded places (such as the gym). Being around a lot of people can make us feel anxious. The CBD oil of this brand noticeably kept us more relaxed in these kinds of situations. We also felt more focused, which was useful while working.
● Because of these calming and focused effects, the CBD drops also helped us to fall asleep faster than usual.

As you can see, we’ve had a pretty good experience using the tincture. However, we also found one minor downside of the drops… Whereas isolate CBD oil usually is tasteless, this one had a little bit of taste (because of the olive oil as carrier). Nevertheless this taste was by far not as unpleasant as most full spectrum CBD oils on the market, so it wasn’t a big deal for us. At the end of the day you’re using CBD for the potential benefits, and not for the taste. Apart from this, we couldn’t find any negative aspects of the CBD oil.

Based on all the above-described points, our overall rating for the drops of Procana is a 9 out of 10. We highly recommend them to anyone who’s looking for high-quality CBD drops that work well.

Procana CBD review: Softgel pills

Let’s move on to the CBD softgel pills of Procana. These are available in nine different variations; three isolates, two full spectrums, one night-time (with melatonin), one with omega, one with co-enzyme Q10 and one with CBG. All of them except the ones with melatonin and CBG have third-party lab-test results on the product page. The ingredient lists of the softgels look clean, and their prices are pretty affordable compared to other CBD brands.

For at home, we would always prefer CBD oil tinctures over softgels (due to higher absorption rate and lower costs). However, CBD pills are way more convenient to take with you outside the home. That’s why we think that tinctures plus softgels are the perfect combination to take CBD all day.

For this review we tried the 600mg isolate softgels (which are called “Complete” / “Extra Strength“). The effects of the CBD pills were similar to the above-described effects of the tinctures (reduced pain, mentally calmer, more focused and improved sleep). These effects seemed a little less noticeable compared to the CBD oil drops however, but also seemed to last a bit longer. The softgels were easy to swallow and didn’t have any taste. Our overall rating for the softgel pills of Procana CBD is an 8.5 out of 10. If you’re looking for very good CBD softgels, we highly recommend these.

According to the FDA, CGMP regulations contain “requirements for the methods, facilities, and controls used in manufacturing, processing, and packing of the product. The regulations make sure that a product is safe for use, and that it has the ingredients and strength it claims to have.”
● This company invests a lot in research and development by studying ratios of cannabinoid formulations, to improve their products even more. They’re also “engaged in multiple medical studies that are backed by leading doctors and scientists.”

Wrap-up

While analyzing Procana CBD, we already noticed that this brand looks really promising. After trying their CBD drops and softgels, we experienced that their products work great in practice as well. That’s why we can only conclude that this is an amazing CBD brand.
