COA Star Rating ✔

The mission of CBD Oil Articles is to make the CBD market as transparent and honest as possible. That’s why we introduced the “COA Star Rating“.

What is the COA Star Rating?

The COA Star Rating is an evaluation program for CBD brands based on a lot of different aspects.

Why the COA Star Rating?

The COA Star Rating is set up due to bad regulations on the CBD market. Everyone can start their own CBD brand. Therefore, there are a lot of misleading CBD companies on the market unfortunately. The COA Star Rating can help customers to recognize trusted CBD brands.

The classification

If a CBD brand is considered good enough, they earn a COA Star Rating. The brands that earned this rating are classified into three different categories:

The COA 3-Star Rating is earned by CBD companies that are generally rated ‘good ✔‘

The COA 4-Star Rating is earned by CBD companies that are generally rated ‘very good ✔‘

The COA 5 Star Rating is earned by CBD companies that are generally rated ”among the best ✔‘

How do you recognize COA Star Rated brands?

Customers can recognize CBD brands that we approved by the COA Star Rating badge on their website (as shown below). This badge is typically shown on the homepage, award page, review page, media page or blog page of a website. These badges are solely issued by CBD Oil Articles. Unauthorized use of this badge without permission is strictly prohibited.

COA 5-Star Rating

How is the COA Star Rating determined?

The COA Star Rating is based on the following aspects:

● Marketing practices: Are the marketing practices of the concerning CBD brand honest or misleading?

● Customer service: Are there plenty of options to contact the concerning CBD brand easily? (Chat-function, phone number, email, contact form, social media). Is there useful CBD information on the website to assist customers? Does the website have a convenient ordering process? (Payment options etc.). How is the shipping process? (Different shipping options, delivery time, tracking information). Does the brand have a good return policy? Is the website of the CBD brand well-structured and easy to use? (Both on desktop and mobile).

● Transparency: Is it clear who the employees of the concerning CBD brand are? Is there clear information about the company itself?

● Lab-tests: Is every batch of CBD products lab-tested by a third party? On which aspects are the products lab-tested? (Cannabinoid content, harmful substances). Are the lab-test results published on the website?

● Organic/natural: Are the CBD products as organic and natural as possible? Are the CBD products non–GMO and are there no unhealthy ingredients used? Are the products vegan? Does the company grow its hemp themselves? Does the company monitor the seed-to-shelf process (growing, harvesting, processing, manufacturing) themselves instead of buying white label products from an unknown source?

● CSR: Does the company take Corporate Social Responsibility into account? (Such as sustainable packaging and manufacturing process).

● Manufacturing practices: The extraction method and carrier oil that the brand uses for its CBD products.

● CBD content: Do the products of the company contain an adequate amount of CBD (in mg per ml)?

● Product range: Does the brand offer a wide product range? (Different kinds of CBD products, different strengths/sizes, different forms (full spectrum, isolate and broad spectrum), different flavors).

● Customer reviews: Does the CBD brand have plenty of positive reviews from real customers?

● Prices: Are the prices of the CBD products reasonable or are the products overpriced? Does the company run promotions often? (Such as BOGO, a free product with your order, money-back guarantee etc.).

● Social media: Is the CBD brand active on social media? Do they post often? Do they interact with their followers?
